Today I walked into a medical stores, not aware of what is its name or who runs it, to place our small dump box. I as usual requested to talk to the owner. A young man in his late 20's came to talk to me over the counter and asked me "regarding what that I wished to talk to the owner..." And me thinking that this was another usual shop owner, introduced myself and told him that " I am from an organization called Saviors of Souls, helping some orphan children with their education and food. I am here to request you to grant us permission to place our small dump box in your establishment so that some customer who are moved by our purpose would drop in coins for us".
The owner asked me a couple of questions as to who we were and how we work and where our children are and so on.
He was so moved that our organization has only volunteers and all the money that is collected goes directly to the children, that he immediately told me that he wanted to do more than just give permission to place the dump box.
He immediately called his family and spoke to them and he told me "look Mr. Arun I will allow you to place this dump box here in our establishment and also I will give free drugs (which ever is available with us) or charge very nominally for costly drugs to all the children and to all the people that come to our store with a prescription that has the seal of your organization."
I was so stunned by the words of Mr. Chetan Jain (Ofcourse I immediately asked for his good name) that I was dumb found. I had no words and I did not know what to say to this wonderful person with a heart of gold.
In one stroke with his compassion, Mr Chetan Jain, has solved the problem of many of our kids and their caretakers with regards to their medical treatment.
I have always wonder whether god had stopped making men with a heart of gold and if he has made them then they are all on television.
Today after meeting Mr. Chetan Jain and his sister, I must say my faith in god has restored and that he is still making "SAVIORS" who are looking out to save souls.

One Wonderful Soul Saving Story
THE BRICK
A young executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new car. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the car's side door!
He slammed on the brakes and backed the car back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?'
The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my brother,' he said, 'he rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.' Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.' Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.
'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the car. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message:
'DON'T GO THROUGH LIFE SO FAST THAT SOMEONE HAS TO THROW A BRICK AT YOU TO GET YOUR ATTENTION'
God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts!.
Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.
Guess it is NOW! the right time to listen to all those souls crying out for help.

Try to bring a smile on the face a distressed little soul
FACE IT
Life is a balancing act between work, relationships, parental duties, staying fit, academic efforts, maintaining friendships, personal fulfillment, working towards our dream, and many more activities. We all know that the list is endless. It is a wonder most of us can even find time to catch our breath. Yet we soldier forward with all our obligations and commitments because we have to, and in most cases, we want to. But when life gets so hectic and the stress of it all impacts our mental and physical well-being, it's time to take action.
There are millions of gurus on this planet who can tell you a million ways to de-stress and make yourself happy.
Somehow I feel you can try one of this action as the saying goes -
"I was complaining that i did not have a wonderful pair of shoes till I found a man with no legs".
We have to let go of all the grind and the problem of our lives for a short while and try to see if we can make a difference in somebody else's life, and of course you do not have to spend any money for it. Believe me, It definitely gives a wonderful sense of joy. In the process of giving joy to others, you to will get a much needed break from all the tough grind which has become a part of your life.
Try this....make your life as well as the life of other a joy to live... and it is easy...all you have to do is take the first step

DON'T WE ALL
I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come from the car wash and was waiting for my friend to get out of work. Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum. From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no money. There are times when you feel generous but there are other times that you just don't want to be bothered. This was one of those "don't want to be bothered times."
"I hope he doesn't ask me for any money," I thought. He didn't. He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop but he didn't look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.
After a few minutes he spoke. "That's a very pretty car," he said. He was ragged but he had an air of dignity around him. I said, "thanks," and continued wiping off my car.
He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came. As the silence between us widened something inside said, "ask him if he needs any help." I was sure that he would say "yes" but I held true to the inner voice, which I do sometimes though not too often.
"Do you need any help?" I asked.
He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget. We often look for wisdom in great men and women. We expect it from those of higher learning and accomplishments (Cos for me only somebody with some great qualification and following only can offer me wisdom, and my friend, arathi will vouch for that).
I expected nothing but an outstretched grimy hand. He spoke the three words that shook me.
"Don't we all?" he said.
I was feeling high and mighty, successful and important, above a bum in the street, until those three words hit me like a 10-kg hammer.
Don't we all?
I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. Those three little words still ring true.
No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you need help too.
No matter how little you have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help.
Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that. You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all. They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only you through a torn world can see. Maybe the man was just a homeless stranger wandering the streets. Maybe he was more than that.
Maybe he was sent by a power that is great and wise, to minister to a soul too comfortable in themselves.
Maybe God looked down, called an Angel, dressed him like a bum, then said, "go minister to that egoist arrogant man cleaning the car, that man needs help."
Don't we all?
